We had a good mixture of talks and visits this year our members themed talks are proving very successful with 8 or 9 members participating usually over a 2 month period, this year we covered "Scottish authors" and "Characters from the Enlightenment" all well received by the audiences.  "The High seas Personal histories " was also a great success.  We also had very successful visits to the Edinburgh Bunker and the Bank of Scotland Museum, and a pleasant walk round Penicuik taking in the Heritage trail.                                                                                                                             Many thanks to all participants and visit organiser for making my job easier.                                                               Group meetings usually take place on the second Monday of the month at 2.00 pm in St. James the Less Episcopal Church hall.
