The original Family History Group have enjoyed a busy year, with ten members meeting on the 4^th Wednesday of the month.  We explored our ancestors' lifestyles, from what a penny could buy to their earnings, jobs, and living conditions—often harsh and requiring multiple sources of income.  Our research extended beyond immediate family to wider relatives, to discover fresh details and broaden our knowledge.  Amazingly new discoveries are being made, so our enthusiastic group look forward to another exciting year of investigations together, wondering what we will find and if brick walls can reveal their secrets.
