The Group has enjoyed a varied year visiting Edinburgh galleries to see a range of exhibitions covering paintings, tapestry, photographs, sculpture, installations and drawings which were created over several centuries from the Renaissance to last year. We particularly liked the exhibitions of work by the local artist, Victoria Crowe, who celebrated her 80th birthday in 2025. There are several active artists in the group so early last year we had a very successful in-house morning where they each displayed and told us about their work and what inspires their creativity. We usually meet on the last Monday of the month, incorporate a coffee break into our meetings giving a chance to discuss what we have viewed and to catch up with everyone’s news.
