Another successful year for the Hill Peckers with some challenging walks in the Pentlands and around Peebles and the Borders.  Not all our walks this years very hilly but we sometimes replaced hills with extra distance.  Highlight for our walkers was completing the John Buchan way in 2 walks, we would like to do it in a 1 day walk in 2026.                 We were able to welcome 2 new members who we hope will be able to join us on a regular basis and give us some fresh ideas.                                                                                                                                                                               Weather occasionally inhibits our walks as we are a bit more adventurous than the "Walking Group" and safety of our walkers is paramount.
